I go through streaks...
during football I was going 13-3, and 15 -5 runs with some a few bad runs mixed in.

now bball , its been 3-13 runs more than often. and killing what I made during football.

my gambling season is just about over since I have no clue about baseball, and I need a break from this shit.
I might leave a little in an acct to follow Justins AFL plays but something tells me that he's not gonna share the wealth like he claims.

I think Justin's full of shit if he thinks that this season of AFL is going to be anything like what we were used to. There's no way they can go from paying their stars in the low six figures to now paying just $1,000 per game and keep the same quality/talent. What we're gonna see this year is no better than a pick-up game of football at the local park. I don't know how we're going to find any edge when the players have no incentive to win.

I thought they were only making like $400 a game. We had an AFL2 team here for the past few yrs and they made like $250 a game and $350 a game if they won..
not sure if this yrs AFL gets more for winning or not. Players also got free meals from the sponsors, our team ate alot of Little Ceasars Pizza.LOL
but that being said the players are still playing with hopes of getting to the next level and showcase their talents to the scouts, why else would ya play for less than minimum wage?

I just find it hard to believe that he would put his nest egg out for everyone to benefit from, I may be wrong

Pete the other part that piled on (other than the actual losing) is just like with your tennis winner being downed at the last second...

when they ky game looked like a shoe in for a winner...i said to myself when that hit, I would double up on one of the remaining ufc fights. of course i didnt know ky was going to start the intentional fouling bs at the 3 min mark, i lost, didnt double up. the only 3 fights left on the board? Gsp, carwin and pellegrino. who did i have in those 3 fights? you guessed it.

You're right about the $400/game, everyone but the three franchise players gets paid that flat rate, but it's the $1,000/game cap on the franchise players that I think affects the game most. You need a solid QB and a go-to receiver to succeed in the AFL format, and those players will be the ones taking the biggest cut. I fear that with their loss or disinterest in the game it will begin to resemble high school football with more busted plays than successful ones. The predictability of the game will go way down and I think it'll be a bitch to bet. I could be wrong, but that's my current assessment.

Yep, I feel ya. The only thing worse than losing is the realization that you had a great opportunity to win but stood in your own way. That's how I feel about yesterday, giving away a ton of profit from Daniela by nearly doubling down on Butler TT. In the end though, I guess this is the experience that we pay for through gambling.

No different from attending a tragic play, we put our money on the counter and received front-row seats to a simulated massacre. For the price of admission, we got to experience yesterday's games not as spectators, but as generals marshalling troops for battle with our fortunes hanging in the balance. It's great to win, but we can't act as though we missed out on something; the emotional high is what we seek, and yesterday we received richly in that respect.

Your GLPPOTD idea has manifested itself as our daily pageant, unfolding extemporaneously each day to captivate us. I think we're winners in other ways besides money when we participate earnestly.

If they're only getting paid $400 a game, what will the betting limits on the game be?

Seems like they could just start shaving points and make more money.

Whoa, I never even though of it like that, but you're absolutely right. Bubblegum bookies will start fixing the games while simultaneously disseminating the losing side across all the forums. You might laugh, but think about how easy it would be to orchestrate that when you're dealing with such small sums of money.

damn pan when u writr a thread about this it must have been pretty nasty. Sorry about it dude. I went to some shit hole casino yesterday called Amelia west of Houma like 18 miles. Got my dick handed to me. Any time I would double down to get back WAM nada. Fuck black jack Im done with anything other than poker. Anyways good luck pal .
