Oakland Seals

The California Golden Seals were a professional ice hockey club that competed in the National Hockey League from 1967 to 1976. Initially named California Seals, the team was renamed Oakland Seals partway through the 1967–68 season, and then to California Golden Seals in 1970, after two games as the Bay Area Seals.
