The Bills are playing in Toronto this week. I will not be attending.

I would attend if I could get free tickets, thats market value of an NFL game to me.

As Zig Ziglar says "Sell the sizzle, not the steak". The NFL has learned how.

I don't like the game. There's not much to like.

A play is 6 seconds then a huddle with the clock running, then 5 mins of commercials every time there is a stop in play.

A team with the lead late doesn't want to play so they kneel and run out the clock, lots of rules, so many that waiting for a flag to be thrown is part of every play.

The game is garbage but the league has done a wonderful job convincing Americans that its a great game.

The game is called football but only one or two guys on either team actually kick the fukkin ball.

I could go on.

Football is garbage.

Plommer lives for hockey and baseball.

Stupid Americans believe they like football and hate soccer of their own volition.
But the truth is America's favorite sports are slow with constant breaks for a reason: money, commercials
you are bombarded with these sports, hence you can't help but take an interest in them. pawns

I played soccer and went to games as a kid with my dad at the CNE years ago, we used to watch European soccer on Saturdays on Toronto tv stations, mostly Italian and German leagues.

I still like the game but soccer doesn't get much coverage compared to hockey here so I have few opportunities to watch games.

You have 2 15-foot nets, 1 goal scored in 90 minutes and a bunch of euro-fags running around flopping. Fun sport.

Whereas in the NFL you have guys with so much padding and plastic covering them that they feel invincible and not afraid to hit or be hit, but hitting is a penalty in the new NFL.

Why the fuck does a kicker or QB need shoulderpads?

I've seen NFL players injured from falling awkwardly.

At leas in soccer the game has some flow and motion. They don't need to stop for a rest after every play.

I won't disagree that soccer can be boring, most sports are boring at some point.

The late timeouts in an NFL game are also awful. There should be changes made to the game rules so that the game remains competitive in the late stages, running out the clock is not sporting.

Also don't like how on a 4th and 5 a team leaves the offence on for the sole purpose of trying to trick the defense into a penalty and then go on to punt or kick the FG, seems so unsportsmanlike.

And still score 1 goal, maybe. I miss the old espn days of AFL.
