I'll tell you what I wouldn't mind in the next game: a blowout. They have been entertaining games and all, but I am spending too much of my weekend watching football. A blowout that I don't have to watch would not be a bad thing.

One of my best friends was a punter/kicker in college and a holder in the NFL and said teams should not call TO, it helps settle the kicking team. The defense is doing the opposite of what they intended to accomplish.

Talking about the Texans electing to receive the opening kickoff, he is trying to put positive spin on it (I don't know why but he clearly was) and he says something about them wanting to be aggressive - okay, fine - and then he says, "And maybe it results in them getting one more possession than the Patriots in the game."

The fuck? Have they changed the rule about the other team getting the 2nd half kickoff?
