You took the words right out of my mouth. I mean, I have nice furnishings for my home and everything's extremely clean and tidy, but the overall ambience of my house seems to naturally reflect my more eclectic and simple natures. Everything is decorative but utilitarian, and save the sofa and recliner, it's all somewhat uncomfortable to discourage visitors from overstaying their welcome. I still work on the first desk I bought in college, strategically placed in the most central part of the house so I can keep an eye on windows facing three of four cardinal directions. As I see Durito's pad, I realize just how weird my own environment is.

Durito, you've got yourself one hell of a setup. I'm especially fond of the stuffed animal living atop your printer. Your locale seems so rustic while being obviously urban, a quality I've been seeking for years. Don't you ever dare talk about moving back to the States again!

Yeah. Like when I say that my place looks like a child lives here I don't mean in terms of a big chaotic mess. I am reasonably neat and clean but there is nothing on my walls except a 4 dollar kitten calendar and my whiteboard with the message WHAT WOULD STEELY DAN DO? I have no plants or pillows or nice accessories or stylish whatnot. I have blinds that are missing slats and/or hanging crooked. Unlike durito's place, there is only about 50% visibility out my windows due to not having been cleaned in 10 years.

Someone needs to come here and clean my windows.

I know. On first glance of the thread title I thought I had a new nickname. Which made me extremely happy because I crave attention so desperately, it doesn't really matter if it is positive or negative. Even when I read that you hate me, my reaction is, "Ahhhhhh," like a sip of good coffee on a crisp April morning.

I was thinking I could start my own thread with pics of my place - which might prove I am a different person - but I have no idea how he posted those nice big pics. When I post pics, they come out as thumbnails. Which is still okay but, like the difference in our living conditions, this pic thread is so much nicer than what I have.

There is no way around it, Durito is a swanky bastard. Who knew? Swanky sonofabitch.
