As of right now Houston is -9. On the surface based on the offensive output shown thus far by the Jets and the same but opposite offensive showing by the Texans it looks like Houston would be the play. The problem is there were several games this weekend that looked easy enough but turned out to be completely opposite of what might have been expected.

I looked and both teams have played 4 games so far this season and they are both 2-2 on OVER/UNDERS. Also in the past 5 head to head meetings only once (the last meeting in 2010) would they have combined to go over a TOTAL of 40. Obviously the head to head trends mean less since both teams have changed personnel in that time but there is a trend even if it is grasping at straws.

There is enormous pressure on the Jets as a whole but more importantly Sanchez and coach Rex Ryan to perform. Pressure is a great motivator for some but is it enough here?

I still lean to the UNDER but haven't made a play yet.

Anyone have anything to offer?

but the point is, if that Houston blowout does happen it will just be one of those things. Blowouts happen sometimes. It will not be some predictable effect due to what San Fran and Minnesota and Chicago did yesterday.

I agree with Muddy.

One think I learned is never bet against Tim Tebow even when he is warming the bench.

I think the weather is THE most important factor in this game... Bad weather (wind) would equalize this game more than people probably realize...

Anyone know the weather??

Jets playing with house money, nothing to "lose", everyone has written them off... Staying away from this game...

I think NYJ continues to crumble. I took Houston and I bumped up the spread to -11; Only a small play but I think Houston will win by a decent margin. So I guess the smart money would be to fade anything that I do... :maniac::maniac:

I don't know about the Jets playing on house money. A slow start and things can turn shitty real fast. No qb is going to make those wrs better.

I have been around several places and it looks like roughly 80% have bought into the Jets stink and are on Houston. It wins sometimes but I hate ever being on that side of things.

All signs point to Texans but if I were betting a side I would be taking the points.

I'd be taking the motherfucking moneyline.

Yeah.

I would.

And I am.

And I did.
