I mostly saw concerts there. I'm sure I saw a few Leafs games in my lifetime - although not more than a handful - I also remember a Marlies game or two - I saw the Harlem Globetrotters once - but it was primarily a concert venue for me. Many, many concerts.

The Who's farewell tour of 1984. Historic happening right there.

Not to be negative, but Toronto looked so dreary! I know 100+ times better than Philly but still ..... maybe being winter and no one at on the streets! The last few years the Gardens was running, I had to set up concerts in there.... from 95-99(before the ACC opened). I used to have to climb around the roof in there. The fucking beams were so old and dusty/slippery pigeon shit coated. Back then there was no real fall arrest in place so if something happened it was a 145ft plunge to a nasty stop.

It was scary shit; glad there are way more laws in place these days to protect workers from falling.
