Machu............. old lady Habs anthem singer

Machu, what's the deal with the old lady who sings the Canadian anthem at the Habs playoffs games. I heard her several nights ago and she also sang it in English. She sounded pretty good and didn't ghetto it up. Fill us in.

Speaking of ghettoing up anthems. Why do chicks who sing the Yank anthem ghetto it up? You guys know what I mean. Some of the singers aren't even from the ghetto. Know wat I'm sayin.

I just posted in the hockey thread. She should really be world-famous, but she never wanted to deal with the non-stop travelling and such. Quebec has a big enough star system that one can make a killer living by staying local.
