If history serves to be correct, Real Salt Lake shouldn’t show up for tonight’s Concacaf Champions League matchup against Cruz Azul in Mexico City.

Be clear on this: The level of losing for U.S. teams on Mexican soil is astonishing. The U.S. National team is 0-23-1, while Major League Soccer teams are 0-19-2. That’s 0-42-3 if you’re keeping score at home.

It doesn’t mean, however, that RSL won’t show up and give a good account of itself. If Real Salt Lake’s victory last week over Arabe Unido shows one thing, it’s that RSL’s capable of being competitive in the champions league and equally capable of garnering the points needed to make it out of Group A.

I needed you to be an authentic Asian Kato. I wanted to team up with you for doubles ping pong against Bread. He's gooooood and I figured if you were in fact of actual Asian decent you would inherently be a ping pong wizzard. Bread kicked my ass in Orlando at ping pong before getting distracted some other random occurance and bored with my ability.
