not a fan either but I did pass through their set on my way back to my sleeping quarters at Bama Jam.
cant say I agree with you about only fat women liking them, there were 1000s a 20 something females screaming for " Drops Of Jupiter":hump:

A friend of mine has been trying to get me into the Stereophonics lately. I have been listening to them and finding a nagging problem. Something about the singer doesn't work for me. Something about his style and voice quality. He reminds me of something I didn't like.

I was unable to put my finger on it until this thread. He reminds me of the singer of that Drops of Jupiter song. Not good.

Stereophonics actually have some decent stuff in the mix but I don't like that vocal style.

Just to let you know, I turned the sound down almost completely but couldn't get past the yellow teeth! I will keep at it! :up:
