Why is it that when a team plays on a court in which both the pro and college 3 point lines are on the court they end up shooting many more deep 3 pointers from beyond the pro 3 point arch?

To me it seems like a no brainer...don't take that shot. Don't even stand out that far to even be confused by the 3 point lines....
 
It's not because they are confused by the college/pro 3....it's to impress NBA scouts.

Believe I saw a study a while back that in games that have the NBA 3 point line on the floor, shooting percentages from deep are much worse.

So they don't do a great job of impressing the scouts, in other words.
