What can I do better? I'm here for the long haul......can we get a master list of who gambles here, I don't mind the sewing circle scene but I don't want to make a mistake of talking sports with a guy (or IAG) who is going to refer to runs in a baseball game as Points

If you want to talk about sports and gambling, talk about sports and gambling. People who are interested will join in. Ideally you can avoid that douchy territory where you start making comments about there being something wrong with people who aren't as interested in sports as you, just as the people who see absurdity in making sports a big focus in life should live and let live.

People have different interests. Not right or wrong, just different.

But yeah if you come to the forum every Tuesday night through the winter expecting there to always be a 100 post thread on NCAA hoops waiting for you - you will be disappointed.
