We all realize that the bible was man made, right?

I think it's sad our country brainwashes the youth with fairy tales and irrational thoughts, that spreads from generation to generation.

We are human beings. When we die, we will not see our parents, george washington,or sick gambler.

We will be dead. Just like before we were born.

Religion is the root of all evil.

Badnina -so you know, I have never been to a day of church service in my life. I lived with my grandmother and was raised a Catholic. She was bedridden the 10 years of her life, and we did church at home so she could be a part of it. I do have faith, just not an organized religion. That is fine for many but i dont feel i need it at this point of my life.
 
I don't watch MSNBC, FOX NEWS or CNN... Why? Because I choose not to, and I disagree with the way they report the news.

I don't go to Wal-Mart...Why? Because I don't believe in the way they do business, closing down mom and pop stores when they move in.

I don't go to McDonald's...Why? Because I don't like Fast Food.

If you don't like something, then just stay away.

You don't see me (or any sane person) running around to WalMart or McD's telling people not to go in, or not to purchase things because of what I BELIEVE IN.

If you don't like something, then leave it be. If someone else is enjoying something, let them enjoy it.

Is that a hard concept?
 
I haven't attempted to sway anyone's opinion. As far as I am concerned the day will come you will all find out I was right. And while I love being right, that thought makes me sad but it's a personal choice. All I do ask is for a little respect back. Nothing more. I am ok with leaving it at that for now.

How can you differentiate a living, breathing, deep relationship you have with god to imaginary feelings? I'm not being a jerk. I'm asking a serious question.

Will you at least concede that you could be wrong? I think at the heart of it all this is what gets me the most about organized religion, there is no room for other possibilities. If you were born in the middle of Africa do you think you would be a Christian?

Organized religion just seems totally irrational and not productive to me. Yes, to me your thinking is irrational. Am I ticked because as of this moment I think you didn't even bother to watch either of the videos I posted and tell me what exactly you thought was incorrect. Yes. Do I find it irritating when I ask concrete questions and basically get, "it's a god thing, you wouldn't understand". Yes.

A pony tail is one piece of tied hair coming out of the back of the head, much like a horse's tail. Pigtails are two pieces of hair coming out of each side of the head, nothing much like a pig's tail. Has Tebow got a pig tail?

Then guess what. I get not satisfaction. I get no 1 millisecond smirk on my face. You know why? Because it's just like before you were born. All that shit that transpired before our births, we were oblivious. And if I'm right, it will be like that again.

But you will never know that you were wrong.

Not fair, is it? If you're right, we'll both know it. If I'm right, neither of us will ever have a clue.
