Left voicemail with Casper. In that voicemail, I told him that disagreements and misunderstandings happen. However, professionals then open a line of communication in an effort to resolve this.

As stated before, the ball is in Casper's court. I will keep this forum updated because I feel that this issue needs to be cleared up for the benefit of all.

You also need to mention that IF Casper made good on his word, I was going to let you know. I was also going to put a review on the sbr forum that, although things did not workout between he and I, he did make good on his promise.

Also, I need to state the fact that paypal reimbursement should NOT take 7 days. That was the frustration I was voicing when I, in confidence, pm'd you.

I'm still willing to make good on my word and post on this as well as sbr that Casper and I have amicably resolved things.

So the BALL is your court now, Casper. We can still repair the situation or we can let it go downhill.

And when you called, you did not let me give you my side. It's almost as if you're using this situation as an excuse to go back on your word.

Let's resolve this and move on.

Comments in bold are the reasons why I am beyond angry.
I made it very clear form the onset what the time frame was for everything and the reasons behind it. What was the purpose for your "frustration"? Did I state a different day and not pay that day? No. What do you have to frustrated about. I could have said, i am not giving you a cent back and wiped my hands of it. I have made it a point that during our tough stretch to be in contact with all my clients and have bent over backwards to make them happy any way we could. I could grab testimonials from other clients to that effect, but I am not going to.

I am more angry that something that wasn't handled poorly on our end has turned up on various sports forums. I have done enough things in my life personally that were big mistakes. I still make mistakes. When it comes to The Sports Illuminati, I have been by the book and honest almost to a fault. Your impatience is unwarranted.

How does keeping this forum updated benefit Gamelive? I mean I guess it opens up a whole new topic in which to joke about, but it's not like you are sharing the $100 with them.

Oh yeah, it's not like anyone on here is purchasing my services anytime soon.

Essentially, this topic on here does not benefit anyone but you. Let's call it like it is.

You never made it very clear why a simple paypal refund takes 7 days. When I asked over the phone, you spoke so quickly that I couldnot even understand you.

From my perspective, you delayed the process, I grew frustrated, and voiced that frustration in a pm. I did NOT post anything on the forum at time.

How is it exactly that it takes 7 days for a simple paypal refund...? Answer that and my argument of being frustrated at what appears to be stonewalling on your part will be addressed.

For ALL who are interested, I have the email correspondence between Casper and I regarding this matter.

As I have stated repeated in the voicemails (multiple) that I left, you have my word that I'll post on this or other forums that we had a small conflict but were able to resolve the issue. At this point, your actions and your words are beginning to reflect my stance.

I sincerely hope that you will prove me wrong by making good on your promise back on Jan 14. At which point, I will return to this forum and state that cooler heads prevailed.

You accused me of unprofessionalism. Any objective person reading this will begin to suspect that your current actions show I am doing my utmost to resolve the matter. Again, I hope you prove me wrong.

Hope to open a line of communication. Thanks.

Again, I state the frustration was voiced via PM. I did not go public with it. And I also stated in the PM that I'll let Matty know once the situation has been resolved.

This is a case of frustration, misunderstanding, and now pride. This can be resolved if both parties are willing. So far, I'm the only one actively trying to open up a line of dialogue.

UPDATE

Casper has made good on his word and refunded the payment.

I want to apologize to him and others who were offended by what should have been a private message.

I also want to state that Matty perhaps should have let the PM stay a PM until the matter was resolved one way or the other. Interesting how, in the name of helping others, he quickly posts something that can have negative ramifications. And please do NOT insult my intelligence by saying that it's your civic duty to warn others. As stated explicitly in my PM to you (when I thought you were just another member of sbr), I was going to contact you once the refund was posted. Sure, I had my doubts; however, earlier posts in this thread will explain why that was the case.

Nevertheless, the issue could have been handled in a better way and I completely acknowledge my mistake. As stated in an earlier post, this is a case of frustation + misunderstanding + pride = conflict.

Thank you Casper for your professionalism. I want to state for the record that the matter has been resolved to my satisfaction.

Nice work caspy. Use the relationship to obtain others.

@Matty, exactly!

LetsWin I'm widely known for my gossiping tendencies. Next time do your research pal.

Oh and please buy my picks.

You're sooooo right. Next time I try to help anyone I'll be sure to ask, "hey do you like to gossip and generally stir trouble?"

And No, I won't buy your picks. With that statement, you made it abundantly clear as to your motives/agenda for starting this thread. Ultimately, when the dust settles, it will be your rep that's tarnished.

I think I can safely speak for Dafty when I say:
