Although I wasn't a fan of school (I wasn't dumb, just bored) I gotta admit growing up in Toronto was a fukking totally awesome experience. As students we got to go on so many school trips to see and do interesting things. As a matter of fact I don't recall any of the girls having an unwanted pregnancy back then. Not saying it never happened but if it did it was well hidden. I'm talking about highschool.

I was short and chubby and got bullied quite a bit up until around 1983 (grade 11) when I grew to a muscular 6ft tall and never forgot about the bullies that enjoyed picking on me when I was a shorter fatter fuck.

I got in to a few fights as a teen and one time beat the shit out of my biggest antagonist. I was terrified, not of the pain, but of being humiliated, which made me a motivated opponent. I won fights I though I was gonna lose, realizing early on that fear is the best motivation.

Those guys (the bullies) never fucked with me after that, quite the opposite.

Good times.
. Good times indeed! Sounds like could be a movie....I think it was.

. Whats with the period at the beginning of all your sentences? Are you using a Mac product to post or something?

. Is it a Mexican ISP thing?

. Did you think we wouldn't notice?

. common

I didn't notice...hmmmmm. I am posting from my IPad but that should not cause that. Quit being so damn attentive. Just kidding. Attentive is a good quality.

!keep paying attention

2003-2006 were my black out years. After my dad died my only real memories are all horse racing related.

2003 remember Funny Cide winning the Kentucky Derby. A NY bred gelding nearly won the Triple Crown but in reality he was never going to beat Empire Maker in the Belmont.

2004 remember Smarty Jones winning the Kentucky Derby. Smarty Jones was special because I remember him breaking his maiden at Philly Park on like a Tuesday afternoon.

2005 Giacomo wins the Kentucky Derby at bout 50/1. I don't think the nag won another race after that.

2006 Barbaro wins the Kentucky Derby. Again, similar to Smarty Jones, he breaks his maiden at like 10/1 at Delaware Park on the turf during a Tuesday card. Derby winners don't typically start out at Philly or Delaware Park. Barbaro later breaks down coming out of the gate in the Preakness and is then later put down

Smarty Jones was probably the best 3 y/o out of the bunch and probably the best 3 y/o not named Ghostzapper that I witnessed.

Smarty Jones lost the Belmont to Birdstone who was trained by Nick Zito. As a result he lost out on the Triple Cown. The only reason why he lost is because Jerry Bailey the prick sacrificed his horse who was named Wimbledon I believe. He forced the pace and pushed Smarty to the fastest half mile of the Belmont since Secretariat. Smarty just ran out of gas at the end and was gunned down by Birdstone who was always a stretch runner.

Never forget Bailey with his smug fucking look on his face after the race when being asked if he sacrificed his horse to push Smarty along. There was also talk that Smarty's jockey, Stuart Elliot should have maybe held Smarty back a bit. He received a lot of unfair criticism because he was a small time jockey from Philly Park. The guy goes from racing $4k maiden claimers to nearly winning the Triple Crown. He was a hot during that summer, he managed to pick up a mount in the Queen's Plate that year.
