Yeah seems like he wasn't prepared. I just don't understand people that don't want to spend time with their kids and pawn them off on other people, if that's the case you should have never had them to being with. It's one thing to not be with your kids all the time if you have to work, it's another to just feel like. Sure every parent deserves a break here and there, but I mean common.
Sounds like the child who swears all the time probably has a bad home life, sometimes all they need is a little attention and guidance. We had a couple boys like that in y neighborhood, but they were always well behaved around me. Seems like every where you go though, there's that one asshole kid that just really is a little pos. What are you gonna do.

You know, I don't think they are leeches. I just don't think they know any better. The wife is actually a decent person. The dude is a lazy fucker and probably a horrible father inside the house. There's no doubt though that I think that he thought I was going to do his driveway this a.m. Why would someone wait until 8:40 to go do their driveway when the kid has to be at school in 10 mins time and the wife also has to get to work. I don't mind helping people at all, but there comes a time where people have to get off to tit.

My educated guess is he was hoping you'd come do it for him. Maybe ignorant yes, but is ignorance an excuse for complacency and not to show respect or give back? I say no.
