I did it for you Cami. Just for you babe. Fuck Karma!!! I'm tired of cutting his grass, snowblowing his driveway, walkway, sidewalk etc. Nothing says FUCK YOU better than snowblowing your own driveway and not doing the neighbours. A message had to be sent.
I should have taken a video of the filthy yellow siding that is not turning black from the dirt. I'm kind if in a snarly mood right now.

You don't know the entire history of my neighbours, honey. I'm a big believer in Karma and doing good for others, but sometimes a person needs to let go of other people's hands and let them navigate through life on their own. I'm a relatively decent person, but I had to send a message. Besides I went out at 7 a.m., drove my wife to work then the kids to school then had to get ready for work. I have no time to be snowblowing the neighbours driveways. The old birds driveway was done late last night by other neighbours.

If the neighbour comes banging on my door looking for help then I will offer to teach him to use my snowblower. I already offered it to him 2 years ago, but he never once bothered to learn how to use it. It's not rocket science to operate a snowblower. His kid was at my house for 6 hours yesterday. 6 hours. Not once did I see him outside shoveling just to get a head start. I was out on my rink last night at 8 p.m. which was a BITCH because a lot of water came through makign the snow basically slush which was really heavy. Took me forever to do it, but I'm not lazy and didn't mind one single bit. The boys were out with me messing around in the snow so I got to spend time with them playing around etc. I just can't be maintaining other people's property. I had to send a message.

I feel all riled up now.

I sound like a typical maritimer with a maritime accent. Torontonians sound and act like New Yorkers. Kwabekers sound like fake frenchies from France. Pardon the alliteration.
 
She phoned yesterday to ask us to send her kid home (after 6 hours at my house), but my wife answered the phone so I didn't talk to her. He just says hello when he walks by which is rare. He's a man of few words. I really think there's something fishy about him. I think he's a spy. Remember I mentioned the kid was 7 and didn't know his last name when I asked him what it was. Seems kind if odd, eh.

Yes I agree that it is very odd that a seven year old supposedly doesn't know his own last name. 6 hours is quite the time span, was this on a weekend or a week day?
 
It was yesterday which was the blizzard day. The kid is harmless, but still man. Like I've said before. We feel like babysitters. It kind of bothers my wife, but at teh same time it doesn't. I think she's just envious because the mother gets to do Yoga and meditation where my wife and myself are raising 2 kids and being very active with them.
 
I can understand that feeling. It's one thing for a kid to hang out for a few hours, it's another to be there all day. I didn't hardly let me kid out of my site, let alone at a neighbors for hours, hell, even when she was with the neighbors I was usually with her. I don't think I would mind an older child hanging out for a while, but it sounds like their son is at your house all the time. Which, from the kids perspective I get, but it's not right for his parents to just constantly pawn their child off on you two. I had a neighbor like that, I had to put a stop to it, wasn't cause I didn't like the kids, but shit man.

And they do it with their friend(s). On Saturdays they have play dates with another kid who is friends with the mother. The little kid doesn't like the mother's friends kid so he is forced to go to this play date. It's basically a way for each parent to get free time to themselves on Saturdays because they probably just don't want to spend time with their kids. I love my boys. I love spending time with them and doing stuff. My wife feels the same way. I have early morning on weekends because of my son's hockey, but I don't mind. It's a bitch getting up at 5:45 a.m. and it's cold out, but whatever.

There's another neighbourhood kid who's parents spend no time with him. ANd he's a little fucking bastard to deal with. I basically put the run on him because he's a punk, swears in front of the other kids and is just a little bastard to deal with. All the other kids in the hood (4 in total) don't care for him so I don't feel bad that I put the run on him.
 
You know, I don't think they are leeches. I just don't think they know any better. The wife is actually a decent person. The dude is a lazy fucker and probably a horrible father inside the house. There's no doubt though that I think that he thought I was going to do his driveway this a.m. Why would someone wait until 8:40 to go do their driveway when the kid has to be at school in 10 mins time and the wife also has to get to work. I don't mind helping people at all, but there comes a time where people have to get off to tit.
