Muddy how in tune are you with rap now a days?

Who me?

Not very. I get country music for the first third of the day. Mix of top 40 plus hits of the last 25 years. The other two-thirds goes back and forth between the one guys iTunes (?) and about 3 different radio stations. The radio stations would have zero rap. Classic and Indy rock. One is kind of poppish I guess. There is occasional rap in the guy's mp3's (?) but I don't think it's recent. Like today I'm pretty sure what I was hearing was Run DMC. Sometimes there is the Beastie Boys.

I don't always know what I'm hearing but not much rap.

Now I'm not some kinda crazy Dead Confederate fan boy by any means but based on the prices I'm seeing for some other acts, they are the best value I've seen so far on the list just based on "The Rat" alone.
