Get what you need done on Sat or Sun! Nicer on Sunday but foots action on! Possibly some messy weather on Monday and all week highs in the teens and lows in the single digits! Winds higher (meaning wind chill cold) staring midweek (meaning Wed) and highlighted by highs/lows of 13/-4 Sat and 6/0 Sun!

NS is supposed to get hammered by a snow storm on Wednesday. My backyard rink needs some serious TLC tonight. I doubt the thin layer of ice will hold the weight of the snow so it might be game over for the backyard rink for a week or so. I plan on getting it fixed up tonight though. Wish me and the little puckers good luck.

That's why I need to go out and reflood my rink using it's own water. the end of the rink closest to my house is pretty much open water as it's been +10 here the last several days. It actually probably has about 1/8 " of ice on it right now so I will be able to put my submersible pump in it and use the water I pump out to reflood the other end and work my way back towards the pump. That should take about 2 - 3 hours tonight. The temperature is going to drop fast so I need to get a new layer of water/ice down. It's a mess right now from the slushy snow we got yesterday.

Mr. Monkey, keep 2024 open. I am officially inviting you to the NHL entry draft. My son is projected to go anywhere in the 1st to 2nd round and I want you there with my family to celebrate the moment.
