I would buy a slim, affordable (sub-$800) Windows laptop that has a touch screen, in a heartbeat. The touch interface is the killer feature. Fok mice and trackpads.

I think Microsoft could fokken own the market with such a device.

I'm not a fan of touchscreens though - especially typing on them. Even touchpads annoy me. I guess I expect a click to work every time. Not the case with any touch device.

I have no plans to ever buy myself another tablet. My phone is perfect as a mobile internet viewer, reader, etc. I can read books on it on the plane, etc. Anything more and I'm gonna just use a laptop.

When someone calls me a computer geek, that's a huge insult. It's the main reason why I don't have to report to work for 40+ hours a week and why I can do whatever I want, whenever I want.
