meh, i live in the last cove before the 2nd largest 6 lane blvd. in the city...cops always at the corner gas station...its rare that i even get more than 15-20 kids coming by...in other location and i would agree, wally

Ray that is what we did this year. We live on a small lane though, so if anything there was maybe a kid or two, now I have a bowl of candy sitting there and no idea what to do with it other then throwing it in the garbage.

My chinese neighbours are going to do this (I swear I Am not lying) because they are too lazy to man the door. The lady came over to our house Sunday evening to chit chat and mentioned that is what they are going to do. She said she felt bad, but that she has a lot of work to do and couldn't afford 2 hours of her time to answer the fucking door.

This is the shit I am dealing with with my chinese neighbours. She hinted that she wanted me to take her kid, but I asked what time her husband was going to take the kid around the neighbourhood.

if you are going to be home, its a pretty lazy thing to do or if you just dont like kids, which i can understand too... ill pass out candy to the early kids while im home, but the bucket outside while im gone is better than nothing i guess.

My parents probably wouldn't have let me take candy that was just sitting out on somebody's porch for fear it was tampered with anyway.

As kids in the 70's we would go in groups with no parents.

We also walked to school, none of my schools had surveillance cameras.

Never heard of such thing as a school "lockdown" until decades after I graduated.

Some are, but there's groups. youngers are with their parents, then like the middle school and the 14 yr olds are alone.

i didnt leave until after 8...didnt really expect more than a couple kids after that....looks like some came by, but i still had most of the bucket of candy left...now i can give the shit to the niece and nephew and get it out of my face
