I have been searching the Virginia Beach Chesapeake Bay area local news for info of a deaths in a home or car explosion. Funny...something like this would surely make the news. Can't find a thing. Nada. I even checked the local news for Duck, North Carolina, where he ws supposed to be vacationing.

Since many posters over at Peep's Place who are known to live in Costa Rica are talking about having heard it in the morning via word of mouth, and since Shrink left on a family vacation earlier this week, I'm presuming that his vacation destination was indeed Costa Rica and that's where the event took place.

Joe (mofome) is posting at EOG now and has confirmed the deaths of both Ken and his wife. Even more bizarre is the conversation between Joe and Ken before Ken left for vacation.

"I hope so much that there is a heaven, I will do my best here because I know he doesnt want this place to fade and I will do my best by everyone in as I, and our team, represent the wonderful things about Ken.

"I have cried for about an hour, I still cant believe whats gone on, but his last words to me were asking me to take care of his baby (eog) and he told me he loved me.

I love Ken so much and anyone that really knows him knows why. There are no words that aptly describe what a wonderful person he always was.

Ken, I LOVE you incredibly and we'll do our best to honor you, and your beautiful wife, every day. She was absolutely amazing. She still is.

I love you so much. This is unbearable."

Now why would Ken tell Joe to take care of his baby and tell him that he loved him unless he knew he was no longer going to be around? So strange to me.
 
I just hope that the link doesn't pertain to them. I know that it's none of our business but I am actually trying to help Sportsgirl find out what is going on. She is on vacation and doesn't have internet access. She met up with Ken and Jerry (Tony Montana) two weeks ago. Weird thing, he said he was going to Duck NC for a vacation. He was just there last week visiting Nancy (sportsgirl). Very odd.

It seems like EOG keeps getting better each day with so many new posters adding to the wealth of information that we already have from our old-timers..

It's nice to know I can leave with people like Blondie, Ballwonder, Jimmy Hoffa, and diogee, amongst others to help out...

I feel like this place has always been a second home for me because of ALL OF YOU...

Looks like the first line is what mo was referring to. Seems innocent enough to me, but I guess I can see how one could read more into it.

I guess only time will tell.
 
From what I know- they died in their house in Virginia and not in Costa Rica or anywhere else. I have been on the phone the last couple of hours. The whole truth will come out when his son Tony Montana makes a statement at EOG.

Very sad news. I know Kenny had a lot of "haters" out there but the man always treated kindly. I will miss him.
