Has anything been substantiated regarding his possible connection with the Feds or was that all speculation and rumor started by those who hated him? I knowwwwww it is none of our business, but I am a very morbid person. Just ask Bread what it is that I watch every night before I got to bed. Definitely not stories with happy endings.

Those rumors are all at Peep's and they've been circulating forever. Look for posts by brothers Brunhuber and Paddy, who seem to have had dealings with him a couple decades ago.
 
Matty, I did see some of the posts at peeps. But is any of that confirmed or just a bunch of angry fucks posting angry words about a guy they hated?

Of course I didn't know Ken, so I can't speak either to his character or lack thereof. But I do know Nancy (Sportsgirl) and she was very close with Ken, as friends, of course. Spoke with him almost every day. She was on vacation last week, but got back to work today and looked through all of her email from him a week ago and absolutely nothing insinuated any type of sadness or anything that led her to believe he was contemplating suicide or depressed. Very weird stuff.

The informant stuff is just rumors.

Just wild speculation on my part, but if you ask me, he was probably facing utter humiliation because of growing legal/fiscal/financial problems and his wife, as a legal entity, would've been implicated too, so he decided he didn't wanna face the approaching shitstorm. Insurance money will allow the family to fix Ken's errors.

Probably as near to the truth as the events suggest, with the emphasis being on financial problems over anything else. Going from a certain level of wealth to suddenly losing it tips a lot of people over the edge. Along those lines there was a story like this a couple of years ago. Guy was going to have his house repossessed so he shot his wife, his daughter and his horses before setting the house on fire and shooting himself. As I recall, the photo in the story was all 3 on a night out hours before it happened.
