Yellow fin. Our guide cut it up and we ate sashimi on the boat, half an hour after the catch. So good.

We took the rest to the resorts restaurant and the head chef there got creative with it. Created ceviche, scarpina, and multiple other dishes with it for our dinner. I was very impressed.

What kind of fish is that? Yellowfin tuna?

What do you do with them? Do you guys get to keep them and eat them?

I wish I would have gone just for that alone. Looks like a good time.

It was yellowfin tuna. We ended up with just over 13 pounds of fillets which we paid the Marriott to cook for us. It was amazing what they did. We did keep and eat them and had more left over.....

Unfortunately just got home today...... had some fun as there was a bomb scare in Ft. Lauderdale and we had to sit on the plane for a bit.
