Sorry, I meant to post this over the weekend but forgot.

How it works: You are bidding real money on teams in the NFL playoffs. When the bidding closes we will add up to pot. 85% of the pot goes to the team that owned the rights to the Superbowl champion. 15% of the pot goes to the guy that had the team that lost in the Superbowl. Everyone will paypal their $ to the champion after the Superbowl, and the winner will then send 15% to the runner-up.

When does bidding close: Saturday, 1/4 at 4:30 ET. Posts stamped at 4:30 will count. Posts stamped at 4:31 will not count.

Other rules: Starting on Saturday, only 1 bid per post.

Another other questions? Any of the SP people should be able to help out. If this goes well we can do auctions for the Masters, Sweet 16, Kentucky Derby, etc. They're usually pretty fun.

Just gently pointing out - because some SPers may not know and I can't help but notice - that you currently have a known repeat-offending stiff (Casperwaits) in your honor system pool. Past behavior suggests a reasonable expectation that he would treat this as a free roll. His approach to paying moneys owed has followed a recurring pattern that can only be described as, "Pathetic weasel."

Don't want to gum up your thread here so I'll link and also bump another thread so you can have a look if you are interested - and hopefully if he is going to do any of his drama-queen antics about it, he'll have the good taste to do it there, not here.

I was going to say the same thing. He should post up for any winning team/s especially since he currently has winning bid on 4 teams. If no payment within 24 hours, teams go to next highest bidder.

Although now after reading the Vegas Dave thread, I wonder if he should even be playing at all if he still owes posters money. Definitely a question for the longer term GL people though.
