We had enough interest so we're running with it.

Each week, pick one NFL team to win. Should that team win, you advance to the next week. Should it lose, that entry is done.

You cannot pick the same team twice all season. If you do, you are eliminated.

You must have your pick in BEFORE the first game kicks off every week. Be aware of Thursday and Saturday games. If you post your play after listed kickoff time, you will be eliminated.

If I notice that someone has not made their play as kickoff time draws near, I will try to contact you for the sake of sportsmanship. After that, nothing I can do for you. There is nothing worse than making it to week 10 and forgetting about a Thursday game, so be careful.

PAYMENT

$25 per entry. You may play as many entries as you like. Winner (last man alive) takes the entire pot.

Must have your payment by the first game on Thursday, September 9th. That gives us three weeks, plenty of time.

You can send me a check or Paypal or any other creative way you can think of. No sportsbooks transfers because I quit gambling!!!

Contact me by phone, Facebook or email if you need my information.

Verbal commitments from at least 18 people already, so this could be a juicy pot.

Quick question: If someone posts a play, but would like to change it later on, and no games have started yet, should that be allowed? I would say that's not a problem for this contest, but will listen to others on this.

I see both sides of this...but since it isn't like a head to head competition I don't see the issue. It is not like you are changing your play to try to beat an opponent. Did that make sense?

that's what i was thinking as well, Amby.

I just think if someone is cautious and puts a play in early so they don't forget, then later that week Peyton Manning gets injured, they shouldn't be penalized for that and allowed to change their pick.
