ON another note I've booked the crown plaza hollywood beach which is about 1 mile from gulf stream and 8 miles from the hard rock. It would seem to be about 8 miles from the airport. I can change/cancel so can anyone local confirm what I'm saying?

Would've loved to be there. If So FLA anything like Montreal, the atmosphere is incredible during the World Cup. I suspect that even the losing team's fans go out in the streets, honk their car horns and party their ass off until the cops have had enough.
