Sure its fast but you won't notice a difference loading most web pages. Which is what 99% of internet use is for most people.
Speed is most useful for downloading copyrighted materials via torrents.

Have you made sure its still plugged in and powered on?
Make sure the usb cable is still connected to the printer and computer, unless its a wireless printer, of course.

No I'm being serious. sometimes when you move stuff around you dislodge a power cord or other cable and lose connection.

I honestly have no idea. I know he said the upgrade would not be an increase in the current bill, but I have no idea what that is...it is bundled in with the phone. It was negotiated a while ago.
Yesterday when I did that test it was like 1..now it's 11, so I'm pleased.

Sweet. Turns out when they upgraded speed/new modem they changed my network and were unable to revert it back. This is why my printer was not connecting. Spent 45 min on phone with Century Link worthless outsourced csr who ultimately referred me to HP.
HP was surprisingly helpful and patient...did remote access and got me up and running. Very friendly guy...sent me a notepad message to printer "Enjoy your printing. Keep smiling."
I spoke with his supervisor at the end of call and gave him glowing review and told her to give him a raise. There is your good deed House.
