We have a couple of games tonight.

Iowa St @ UConn

UConn -4 TOTAL 44.5

Boise St @ Toledo

Boise St -20 TOTAL 60.5

I'm already positioned on Iowa St but maybe another group effort day will help someone undecided or merely entertain those not concerned.

I'll admit I would have passed on Iowa St/UConn had it not been a program play. I know Iowa St beat their in-state rival last week Iowa but I don't really know anything about either of them. I did watch UConn against Vandy and UConn looked awful on offense. Some might say that performance was due to the Vandy defense. While Vandy is in the SEC true, not all SEC teams are created equal. The Commodores do have some speed in the defensive side of the ball but they are not in the elite portion of the conference.

Two factors that can't be denied is the potential for an emotional let down for Iowa St and a need to redeem themselves on the part of UConn.

Is Boise State 3 td's better than Toledo on the road? Why did this line climb so much? Toledo has some decent team speed that could keep them on the field with some big schools. I am interested to see if this line drops a bit closer to game time.

I looked at this game backwards and forwards and I still have to stay away.

Boise is "just that good" and they definitely have to win and win impressively to have any shot of the title game and even then in all likelihood it still won't be enough unless the right teams lose along the way. So just looking at Boise they are good for 21 points on the road.

The problem is in not knowing enough about Toledo. Last weeks performance was impressive but just how impressive was it really. Ohio St without what, 7 starters due to violations? Not to mention they knew they had Miami this week so a good chance Toledo was taken lightly in the first place. I'm not taking any credit away from Toledo they played a really good and really inspired game but without really knowing the answers to those questions it makes it harder to really get a feel from last weeks game.

What we do know is Boise has no opportunity to take anyone lightly. They have to play each and every game likes it's a video game where high score matters. We also know that Boise St's defense is no joke, they held strong and matched up well with a decent Georgia team.

I'm not playing the game but it will be interesting to watch all the same.

begging for toledo action here...+21.5 all day... guys only know that boise has to dominate every team in order to hold their ranking...they are the one team that does not let up if they get a big lead...

is boise the best team thats ever played there? im assuming so...not saying much for the fans...uconn decent at home the last handful of years i thought, not sold on vandy so im really not sure if uconn is worth a fuck or not...i need them a bit and im sure its due to last weeks performances

I need this for no other reason than I want a good opening week with the "recipe".
