I didn't take pics or video this weekend. It's an experience that I want to feel and can't be captured in a picture.

I do have some shots of my first ever jump.

My guess is he is foolishly using a small trick chute. I normally use what we call as air buses which range from 200-500 sq ft. I'm addicted to the freefall and not the canopy portion. It sounds like you just had high g-forces if you have the SAME exact thing he felt. As far as I know the only way to recover from g-forces on the body is through rest :/. Next time insist on a big chute to open and get you down smoother and safely. A lot of these jumpers get used to FF and start chasing other highs or faster decents when the canopy is open or trick landings. They also like to push how long they can drop before canopy.
