I like you Choo, but you're out of your element here.

I manipulate this market just for fun, trust me.

Here was my write-up from Feb 8th. Pinny had Edgar at -116 at the time.

Much like in his two previous title defenses, sportsbook odds makers have listed Edgar as a short favorite to defend the belt. Pinnacle has raised their UFC betting line as high as -130 on the champion but we’re now seeing an overall shift in the sports betting market in favor of the challenger. Pinnacle is hovering around -115 while Bookmaker has stayed within a 5 cent margin at -120.

Frankie does two things exceptionally well: work angles off his footwork and speed, and slip punches with his head movement and pocket awareness.

Often times he’ll either double up with his jab or throw a lead hook to the body in order to work his way into the pocket. Also, his straight right is one his more frequently effective punches -- always perfectly measured whether he’s countering with it off his back foot or leading out with it off his jab.

On the inside, he throws a crisp left hook and circles off his uppercut to perfection. A well placed uppercut in the 4th round against Maynard was the exact punch that initiated the subsequent knockout.

Ben Henderson, meanwhile, is able to overwhelm his opponents with sheer size and aggression. As one of the largest lightweights in the sport, Henderson has repeatedly bullied and outworked his way to 3 dominant decisions over Bocek, Miller, and Clay Guida. His punches aren’t really too big of a concern here, however, he does pack some heavy heat in his leg and head kicks. Edgar will need to be particularly cautious of Henderson’s right head kick, which without question is the most capable fight ending strike in his arsenal.

He does however get a bit defensively careless once you get him backing up. The way he drops his left too low was exposed at one point in the first round when Clay Guida shook Henderson with a right hook as he was backing him into the cage.

In order to land on Edgar you have to work as much dirty boxing as you can while throwing nothing but short, concise shots down the middle. He’s showed against Maynard that he can be susceptible at times to the lead uppercut and short straight right.

Unfortunately, Henderson hasn’t really shown too much effectiveness with that particular type of attack. He does have some weapons on the inside, but none of them really have the speed and finesse that’s needed to counter the speedy movement in which Edgar darts in and out of the pocket with. I think unless Henderson secures some type of choke he’ll be eating straight rights and heavy uppercuts on his failed takedown attempts. I like Edgar to cruise to a 3-2 or possibly even 4-1 decision.

i only remember -115 at 5dimes, but i was a day late seeing the opener for the card too... illy manipulating ufc lines :clueless: nah, but he is very good at what he does and is on openers minutes after they come out...the way its explained to me, the main line movers arent even american gamblers.

this card sucks and is typical whoreshit from ufc... our big fight V3 fight league always has hugh parties when rampage fights...its obnoxious and too much for me... and he always comes to the V3 events and signs autos and takes pics and shit which is nice, but its so blown out of proportion...they wear him out. ill be watching in piece and quiet without all the rednecks screaming "rampaaaageee" all fucking night... gl tonight boys

I tend to doubt that Ray.
