Footprints In The Sand

Ever walked on the beach and noticed the footprints you leave in the sane? You generally dont have very long to notice them because eventually the waves will wash them away.

Our very existence is not much more than those simple insignificant footprints. We are on this earth for a relative short period of time and then much like the waves washing away those footprints our time is up and we are gone. Some are here longer than others but eventually we all have a wave waiting.

I can see my wave approaching.
 
Do something to make the footprints last long after you are gone. Cure a disease, create a life changing invention, or impact a single life so profoundly that they remember you for their lifetime. Hell, go shoot up an arbys, thatll get you an entry on wikipedia.
 
Sire some children to carry the legacy

look at Secretariat. Guy made some hoofprints for himself, and then had about 600 little horseys, like Seattle Slew


can you imagine the power poster that a combo of BadNina and Wal66 would produce?
 
Boner, things, deeds, accomplishments, discoveries only matter to those it impacts. For every person something touches there is someone it doesn't.

The only thing that touches us all is the wave. Regardless of beliefs or values the wave eventually gets us all.

Make all the footprints you want at the end of the day the only one who will know they ever existed is the wave.

Wal, when we bodysurf in the ocean we sometimes get slammed by the wave, and get some up the nose and in the mouth.

Wal, all people who come near the ocean will have a small taste of your footprint in their mouth, along with salt, alot of dead fish and millions of dead human bodies.

why not gamble ourselves into debt, bang some hookers, do a ton of drugs, drink ourselves into oblivion?
