Finally. They have had this in multiple cities in Europe for years.

They did that in Madison while I was in college. All of the bikes were free and painted red.

They were beat to shit by drunk fucks who would just ghost ride them into brick walls or ride them off the pier into the lake.

The program should be called give a bike to a homeless guy since that's probably what will happen to all of them eventually anyway. Not that it's a terrible thing...

I fully agree. I take my ipad to all my business meetings and take notes on it either by typing or with a stylus. Because I work in social and new media I can check all of our platforms right there in a meeting for up to date information on how our content is performing, with out carrying my macbook air around with me. We all use ipads these days at work. It's great. And now with the cloud I can access info from my ipad and iphone on my macbook air and desktop in the my office. Then again on my personal macbook at home. You can't deny the ease of it all when it comes to the work place.

Exactly. iPads are great for people who can't carry an extra 3-5 pounds all the way to the conference room.

Yeah, the bike-sharing thing is pretty cool. Been using it for 3 weeks now. No U-lock hassle or fear of getting your bilke stolen/vandalized.

I never understood the bike share thing. A yearly subscription is like $100. You can buy a beater off craigslist for $100. But yeah, you don't have to worry about locking it up and stuff.

Its 35 euro in spain for a year, but you have to have a spain resident ID. I bought a beater off CL for 40.
