Do you have a film that makes you feel good anytime you see it?

I do.

It's GREASE!

If this film is on TV I'll watch it.

Why?
Because it takes me back to 1978.

I must have seen it over 50 times.

I remember seeing for the first time at the cinema at North York Sheridan mall (Jane/Wilson) in Toronto as 12 year old kid. My mother always gave me money to see a movie on the weekend.

Watching it as an adult brings back powerful pleasant childhood memories.

Great choice, Plommerwitz. Outstanding film.

My feel good movie is The Big Lebowski

Honorable mention goes to Stand By Me (Rob Reiner) because it reminds of being a kid on summer vacation.

No but seriously man, I don't watch movies 50 times - but there are some movies that I catch every 4-5 years and they make me feel good.

Pulp Fiction is one for me. I realize it's not a typical feel-good film but what makes me feel good is something really original and creative. I rewatched it recently and I was borderline giddy the whole time. It just makes me happy to see something that great.

As far as something that actually is a feel-good movie, Amelie.

Funny you mention Stand by Me.

I was an usher at a theatre when it came out and always timed it so that I was in the show for the barfing scene at the pie eating contest and also the leech scene when the boys were in the creek.

PS: Muddy, I should have clarified that I'm referring to feelgood movies you remember from being a kid.

Childhood: TV show is Glimore Girls , Movie: It's a wonderful life (among other Christmas movies we watched EVERy and I mean every Christmas for as long as I can remember. )

As an adult, I have seen You've Got Mail and Dazed and Confused, I don't know how many times.

E.T.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I first saw this when I was about 4, I cried, I was obsessed with E.T. for the longest time. I had an E.T. nighty, and stuffed animal, and everything. I loved and still love me some E.T. Even to this day, if I happen to come across it on TV I will stop and watch it. and smile the whole way through. Truth.
