Tuna is good in salads for something different, make some bacon and boil some eggs and use romaine lettuce and a little italian dressing and you're in business. You're also consuming a lot of calories, but it's good.

Avocado is good in salads as is red onion. I've also grown to like raw carrots in my salads.

Arugula is very easy to grow by the way. All you need is a clear patch of ground and a packet of seeds. Arugula is a self-seeding annual so every year it will drop it's own seeds and grow the next year...

If you like greens, research which ones are easy to grow and get yourself ready for some spring planting if possible.

not teasing you iag....for some reason I made a salad a few days ago. (not to be confused with the tossing salad andy performs with his sheep)

I didn't know what to do so I just used regular lettuce, and put some hard boiled eggs, cheese and croutons....felt like I could've done much more but had no idea

I make three salads that I learned from making salads at a local restaurant growing up.

Ceasar - self explanitory
Garden - cherry toms, juliened carrots, sliced cucumber, ricotta salata, shallot vinagrette (I add sunflower seeds and egg if I eating it for a meal)
Arugula - lemon and oil and shaved parm

I like a mix of spring greens and baby spinach.

Feta is the shit.

Cherry tomatoes are a nice touch, but only if they're cut in half. I don't need little bombs going off in my mouth.
