I took my contacts out 2 nights ago and put on my glasses which I love. Wake up next morning. Gone. I always put them on nightstand or fall asleep with them on and then end up in the bed. I have stripped the bed, looked under the bed 10x, and searched every inch of this house at least once...oh, and gone thru the trash. WTH???? I was at the point of breaking things frustrated last night.

I have had this happen with other things in the past which never did resurface...very strange.

Only sunglasses on my head Kid.

This is getting annoying. Better workout than I got at the gym just repeatedly looking under the same pieces of furniture over and over. I just cut a slit in mom's $4k bed box spring cuz I thought I felt something there. And even though I knew there was no way they could travel thru the mattress to the box spring There was something there. Some piece of metal that is the same length and size of my glasses. Fok.

I would suspect mom (I found a piece of china in the refrigerator this morning)but she doesn't come into this room in the night. I guess I will go thru the trash again. Arrrrrrgh.

Check the frame of your bed.

I have to the point of OCD like behavior...but I will look again. I called the eye doc...they said my prescription was only a 1 year prescription? I thought glasses were always 2 years and contacts 1 year. . No line/no glare/scratchproof bifocals. $$$$$. FOK...over $600 when they have to be here somewhere? This is almost worse than when I lost 2 oz of gold this summer. At least that could be explained in a few ways. This is beyond bizarre. The last thing I remember is using all my tiles to play "fellatio" in a WWF game with Mr. X. Haven't seen them since. Strange.

I've never heard of glasses only having a 1 year subscription. Am I missing something?

I haven't either. I questioned the nurse and she said she was going to talk to the doctor. I was seen in July of last year. I thought 2 years was standard. I will probably throw a fit if they say I have to come in. Not only is that extra money, it's extra time.
