Riverside County is a county in the U.S. state of California. One of 58 California counties, it covers 7,208 sq mi (18,669 km2) in the southern part of the state, and stretches from Orange County to the Colorado River, which forms the state border with Arizona. The county derives its name from the city of Riverside, which is the county seat. Along with neighboring San Bernardino County, the two counties have been dubbed the 'Inland Empire'.

The population of Riverside County was 2,189,641 in 2010.

In that town only. Palm Springs has a population of over 400k with all the towns combined. The town i live in in NJ has a population of 20k, but this is far from rural. small towns make up metro areas.

So, I guess all of the skyscrapers are behind us in this picture...

and we who lived in palm desert and rancho mirage are a lot different then those riverside folk. but anyway I realized I was better than that area which is why I moved to NYC, by way of St.Louis for a year at an ultra competative university, then realized I was destined to be a New Yorker, which I am. Unlike Blit-Twit.

You're better than areas now? LOL.

That university couldn't have been too "competative."
