I thought I would list some ideas and reasoning behind them for the MLB Challenge. I dont expect you to agree to everything or do expect that you will have ideas as well so that is why I thought I would put it out there now so there is time to consider and negotiate.
Obviously as you have already mentioned it depends on when your current challenge is over but for the purpose of discussion lets assume ours was able to begin May 1st.
I personally would like to see 200 (MLB ONLY) plays. That few of plays will allow for spot betting as well as being enough plays to make it last.
My personal preference would be all plays be to win equal units but I could see where from a strategic standpoint it might be fun to do like 100 plays at 1-unit, 75 at 2-units, 15 at 5-units and 10 at 10-units.
We both have a 5-Dimes account so either use only their lines ar at least list where they play is from for tracking purposes.
Alternate lines would also add to the strategic aspect of the challenge but personally I would prefer straight RLs, MLs, 1st-5 innings and Totals.
Post season play may or may not be good but my original thinking is regular season only.
Any play posted is posted as LISTED not ACTION.
Winner is to be decided as the contestant who wins the most units or the loser closest to zero should both end up negative.
Purse is $300 with the loser paying the winner upon completion. If either fails to meet the full agreed upon number of plays regardless of unit standing they automatically lose.
