Problem is Monkey I don't take them recreationally...I don't have enough to give me a buzz...I have enough to keep me out of w/drawal and while that is my plan once I am done with this stint with mom, I just don't have it in me to do it right now.

I had a script when I was in Denver but I never bothered /had time to get one out here...and because I became addicted years ago and voluntarily got off them for a while, all that is on my medical record so I always think they are going to think I'm abusing them. If they took them, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world...it would be an uncomfortable week to stop them, but I could probably stay intoxicated the whole time and get thru it.

Back issues suck. 2 years ago, while coaching my son's IP hockey team, a little bastard came barrelling down the ice and slid right into me. I had my back to him. I fell and landed right on the kid. He's actually severally ADHD and is on meds. My back has been fucked up ever since. I won't do meds though. Maybe Ibufrofen.
 
Thing is I could have stayed on them forever legally. I knew I was developing a problem and quit....this all played out in a big thread at SP btw....I am not sure, but at some point I must have had pain or thought I wanted one...I don't know..and it's very easy to get readdicted to them. I used to be mentally addicted to them, but now it is just a physical dependence.

I will not bring the Soma, I know you can get that in Mexico legally at the store.
 
Just bring them. I do worse all the time, as do many people I know, as do a gazillion other people. It's possible to run into a problem and regret it. It's just very unlikely. Relax.

Don't bring any back with you.
 
They rub a swab against you and/or your luggage then they analyze said swab with a machine. I think they're mostly looking for traces of explosives, but I've heard of someone getting in trouble for having traces of cocaine on their wallet.

We will certainly look like tourists not drug smugglers but what is worse case scenario? I will deal with whatever, but don't want to put my family thru any hassle. But they look like about the purest Midwesterners there are....maybe I'll throw them in her bag. lol

Ok well I don't do explosives or cocaine so ok there.

Do you think it would be better just to try to mix them in with my real scripts...the oxycodone (not contin) looks exactly like my ambien...or I could hide them in a tampon or something....what guy wants to take apart those? I feel like such a criminal...geezzzzz

I don't know what the worst case is. Probably the stuff you've been reading about. :)

I just know what's actually going to happen, which is nothing. Mexico is not in the business of scaring away tourists who bring in some pain pills for personal use.

Drug smugglers no doubt go out of their way to look like tourists and even bring their kids along. Don't bring the Oxy. Problem solved.

I would use a recent, empty bottle of something else and put the Oxy in that. I wouldn't mix pills.

But like MrX said, the odds of anything bad happening seem pretty damn low.
