Only dealt with them once and don't really remember it. Seemed like a PITA though. Am I going to need anything other than my passport to get into the country...do I need to document anything health wise? Are they going to go thru my purse? If I have pills do they have to have a pill bottle with my name on them? Do they go thru your checked luggage?

I need a seasoned international traveler for info.

No there is one pill I do not have a prescription for. Enough said. I mean they really aren't going to check that all out are they?

And yes I could but not as fun....I only really want that one week a month anyway and it just fell that way. ...and mostly I don't want to leave it around the house...my luck someone would find it when looking for something.

Again, I don't know about Mexico. The odds that they'll micro-inspect the contents of your prescription drugs seem very low, but non-negligible. I've had my stuff looked at several times.

But are they going to really check if it is on person..will they be able to see individual pills if say they are in my pocket? What will happen to me if they bust me...and we are not talking a large amount of pills here...
