Another fact is that Kelly was questioned when he stated in the spring bout players getting plenty of sleep and eating a healthy diet! Also only NFL team that practices on Tuesday but other than WR Macklin out for the season in first week of preseason, they have had no major injuries! Lucky yes but does Chip know something?

I think there is a lot to cutting back of the practices and off-season training and the increased injuries this year. Hard to imagine that the NFL wants to go to an 18-game schedule.

Yes FW, but with Kelly he was practicing more but lots of it was no contact and was questioned bout that also since the defense was so bad at the start like they didn't practice enough tackling! Guy has some different ideas that so far are working out! First year luck! :dunno:

Tackling across the league has been brutal, early on it was a direct result of shorter training camps and little preseason game action.
