Didn't turn out to be a burial but didn't turn a profit either. A 2-2 day kind of indicative of my middle of the road existence.

I was just pulling your leg Wally. I just looked at my book and apparently I bet those lines for the whole 4 rounds. This tells you how much I know about golf betting. At least the money is not dead yet.

You obviously dont understand the open concept.

I do understand it. My guess is that just traveling to the British Open, spending a week in hotels in Britain, buying a half dozen slacks, shirts, shoes, clubs, golf bags, hats, sunglasses, rain gear, paying for a caddy for a week would cost you thousands in money. So yeah a poor person can't afford to play at the British Open.

It does. and many nationwide players need backers or are in debt. making 100k doesnt go very far when you have to live in hotels, rent cars and.fly all over the place every day. and many dont make close to that.

I guess that is dafts point. those are the guys that should be cussing. they ate the ones where a shot or two can be the diffwrence between tour riches and being broke.

And the open can get guys that arent even on minor league tours. could be some broke guys out there.

Hell john daly is broke.

John Daly is not poor. He is broke but not poor. A guy who cleans windshields at stop signs with old newspapers is poor. John Daly is not poor. He likes to party and burn quickly all the money he makes. John Daly would never wash windshields with a newspaper for a meal.

sorry saulty...just seeing this thread again...ive got a shitload of action, but no personal h2h plays for me today either... this weekend, maybe...

gl with your plays, wal... the on and off drizzle and lack of wind has kept me away from making plays...its a crapshoot out there now...as long as the wind stays under 10mph or so, bubba has decent conditions to shoot another good score...

Fok'n Watson is doing today what I expected out of him yesterday.
Fok'n RayRay gets to look like a sharp cause he knew to stay away.
Fok'n keep the driver in the bag you fok'n twisted fok.

Maybe I can cash on the Hanson/Watson ticket for the 4 rounds. Dufner is doing better than Fowler too. Only Lawrie is better than Hanson right now.
