A few years ago, the system wouldn't even allow you to drop #1 & 2 picks. I think they were called LOCKED/Franchise players or something.

Like I said, when you are playing in a league with ignorant 'tards a waiver system is necessary.

I think we have a mostly non-retarded crew here. Let's avoid making the commish get involved.

I'm in a 25-year league and a waiver system is fair and prevents issues down the road.

Matty that kid :lmao: :lmao:

Is this seriously a big deal?

yeah i'm confused too.

on one hand we have the "life-changing" money comment that I took to be sarcasm.

on the other hand, we have a cry for fairness.

in all honesty I see both sides, but I think maybe Wally gets scape-goated and is the easy guy to pick on, and his moves get scrutinized more because some people don't like him.

I don't remember anyone crying about "fairness" last year when Nina decided she only wanted to draft and play Alabama alumni.

no one cried when I dropped Fred Jackson.

Jackson was clearly out for the rest of the season, no? Forte might play as early as next week.

It's just about the game still being a game. These bullshit moves take away from the fun of assembling a solid team by way of buying low/selling high.

That is, right until I'm able to pick up one of Wally's retarded drops. Then I'll shut up.

Not true.

Jackson's Ownership dropped to 80%'s.

Not picking on walrus.

Fair Commish.

Matty, you're smarter than this, Blitty, probably not.

I'm arguing against rules that "WERE'NT" rules.

If you are gonna run something and that something is gonna be open to all walks of life and all sorts of experience levels and various creative interpretations of what strategy is then you have to expect some will be a little unconventional. So you make sure to make RULES to cover things you fear might occur.

When something does happen that wasn’t covered in the RULES then you live and learn and make sure to include it for the next time round’.

Wally, people like you are the reason that stupid laws need to get passed/stupid signs need to be put up.
