We are in Mississippi for the Mississippi Masters tournament this weekend and tomorrow is a practice round. The host and his partner will play me and my partner in a Shamble for that round. The team bet will be a modest $10 per hole that triples to $30 for a birdie. In addition I am playing the guy $25 per hole. so far this is standard for this event but there is still one more bet.

If I beat this guy he pays me $500 BUT if I lose I have to shave either the right or left side of my mustache and goateeand wear it that way till we leave Sunday.

I beat him last year out of $200 giving him 3 strokes a side and now he is playing off his partners tee shot and playing me even.

I dont expect Daft to be in my corner but I hope there are enough posters here that like me enough to say a lil prayer that I dont choke under pressure tomorrow.

Tully, there will be no blow or hookers, I will use the money much more stupidly by trying to make more in the casino. However if I manage to choke it away like I did on the back 9 of the opening round of the Strawberry Tournament last weekend I will man up and post a picture.

Boys it was a battle like none I have ever been through on a golf course. I boggied the first 2 holes but managed to keep it close throughout the match. In the end I won shooting 81 to his 82. Won the $50 plus $25 for winning one more hole than he didand an additional $75 for the team bet for a total of $600.
