You guys should start spoiling yourselves and use pancetta instead of bacon (for uninitiated its just a premium kind of bacon).
Grilling is best for texture and to retain flavour. Crispy but not to the point where your breaking teeth.
Always found salami to have beat flavour and texture when sliced into chips and baked on oven paper at 230C for 10mins...
So much flavour and crispiness in every bite...
