just had a few fine young jiggaboos come out to look at my chimney, the pans and all the areas around it... before they give me some bullshit about this and that needing to be repaired, is it quite possible that i have some very saturated wet brick and when it rains heavily, the actual drip, that drops water in the fireplace, is water seeping in from the brick?
the neighbor mentioned this and said he had the same problem and started water sealing the shit out of his chimney and it stopped his leak...
i know shit in your area is probably built better, but have you run across this before? thanks
