Where the apartment is I know ok and I think most everything we do will be around there and mostly in walking distance. You get car restrictions 3 days one week and 2 the next and its 3-7pm so not gonna be driving around much.

Ok I read the article now. Freefall, why would you choose 'America Sucks' as your title? 'Wake Up Americans', 'Red, white and blue colored glasses', or Ameica the Stupidful.' might be more apropos.
The blogger points out a lot of things that most of us already know, Americans are flawed but he doesn't say America sucks.
 
So SG apparently has a sister in Bogota. She works at Unicentro which is the mall 1/2 block from where we are going to live. So she tells SH she has never heard of Santa Barbara which is the neighborhood in which she apparently works.

some good points in the article. But it's attacking a bit of a straw man, a caricature perhaps. The image America presents of itself when watching the media.
The impression I get of actual people is that they don't know or care to know much of anything inside or outside America. And the rest are foreigners anyway. :grin:

Open the magazine, first page add for new building in Cartagena "Apartamentos de lujo de 180M, 217M, 247M, and 519M" in Cartagena. ~5Milliones per M there. Want to by a 2millions $ condo?

Next page add for 85k usd BMW. Next page Claro add Samsung SIII only a million pesos if you sign 2 year contract.
