I think that if an NFL game goes to overtime and there is no score after 1 extra period of play they should go to a kickoff!

I mean they should make the kickers kick field goals until one misses, moving the ball back 10 yds after every field goal.

Like penalty kicks in soccer (futbol).

I really shouldn't be giving these ideas away for free, I should be consulting with the league for a fee.

I have some great thoughts about improving an already fabulous game, a game loved by billions around the world.

No, I like regulation time games, with ties if necessary.

The NHL made all the "improvements" to the game to attract Americans in non hockey markets.

I say fuck those Americans in non hockey markets.

We have enough Americans and Canadians in solid hockey markets that liked hockey games that end after 60 minutes in the regular season.

Fuck you Phoenix Coyotes, and a big ol fuck you to the Florida Panthers too.

Why is a tie so bad?

Why not play until someone scores? I HATE the shootout also. Who wants to spend $75+ for a ticket to see a tie?

Ties were always part of the deal in hockey.

I wouldn't mind overtime where the loser gets no points. I HATE that an overtime loss is worth a point.

I would spend $250 to go see an NFL game where 300lb defensive linemen attempt field goals.
(I don't think I'm the only one, either.)
 
No ties in hockey. Ties are ridiculous. So is endless overtime in the regular season. Shootout = good.

Only thing they need to change is the way points are awarded. A shootout win/loss should count the same as every other win/loss.

No more gay 3-point games. No points required to track the the standings at all.

Just wins and losses like baseball/basketball.

I hated watching the Blackhawks in the 70's get 15 ties in a season. WTF is that? I'm all for wins/losses only and no points for OT losses.
