I'm guessing normally they would say hey, we are withdrawing $1000 from your account. However, it's likely Brock doesn't even have $1000 in his checking account if he gets a $1200 check and gets cash for it rather than depositing it.

Actually we talked about this, and yeah no adjustments were made to his account, which he checked. I am assuming he has more than 1,000 in there.
 
I wonder if he's shitting himself.

Coug, if you talk to him again just tell him to give them the money. Even though he apparently spent a big chunk of it already.

Starting that thread was the most ridiculous thing I've seen someone do on a forum in a long time.
 
So he got an extra grand from the teller. Decided to keep it, post about it, call people about it. And now, he has spent a portion of it already.

Does not prove anything. This is bullshit through and through. There was never an extra grand. Ready-made drama for the drooling masses. I'm ashamed for even keeping up with it.

Update: Brock called back, guy told him to come in, once at the bank he was asked into a back room. Basically guy said, " We need the thousand dollars...we would have found out anyway but someone directed us to your blog..."

Brock then gave the money back and left.
 
I should put a disclaimer with my last post and say that I'm also slightly gullible when it comes to this kind of stuff since I can't see why someone would want to make himself look like a scumbag who could cost a teller her job. Then again I don't really understand the point of spending one's time ghosting either so I think I still have a lot to learn.
