WTF is the story here? It seems like there are 80 of them and they're constantly running these contests lately for scratch off tickets and $1. Who the hell does this? And why are people entering the damn contests? For a scratch off ticket? Come the bloody hell on.

And now you've got a poster who apparently is obsessed with GamblingStacy who, I'm sorry to sound like an absolute bitch, but doesn't really present as too worthy of a stranger's raging desire.

Please tell me these people don't really exist and it's actually one of you playing Casper across the way. If not, I may have to turn in my membership card over there until they disappear again.

I am very serious and am trying hard to maintain my irritation so no jokes please. I need to get to the bottom of this. There are 50 f'n threads going at the moment and it's making me angry!!!!!!!!!

If it's someone here, then that's cool but if it turns out this family actually exists I'm not sure I'll ever be able to return to America.
 
As I recall it is some idiot that thought he could get multiple entries into contests and multiple dips of daily SBR points. He slightly miscalculated by giving all his identities names that were guaranteed to draw attention to them. And it's all academic anyway because they are all posting from the same IP address and as such are ineligible regardless of the names.

Most inept. Nickel-and-dime. Scam. Ever.

Once busted, he kept up some of the identities (although not as actively) due, I assume, to being ghey.

Hey who knows - maybe the story is true. Maybe it's a whole family who are all just that enamored with SBR and who all use the same computer.

I'm not sure which scenario is worse.



In my mind, the "gambling family" was a pretty good symbol of what SBR forum had become when the exodus began.

Fair enough. I know there are still people on here who head over there so I figured I'd save myself the effort and see if anyone had some info for me instead of wasting my time trying to work it out for myself. For some reason their whole gig makes me want to scream.

Slippery slope. After a few years at SBR I decided I was going to start putting the really pointless nonsense on ignore. One led to another led to another. By the time I left it was not unusual for me to open threads and only see a third of the posts. And a lot of that third I would ignore without actually having the person on ignore.

It's not a strong forum. But it's good to know that if I ever have a hankering to see people haggle over interest rates on a $2.81 loan, I have a place to go.
